Bramble's New Display — LOVE IT
an article by Sarah Corbin for OakPark.com
Bramble has done a wonderful thing for my over-stressed consumer mind. They have added a gorgeous library-like display for their bath and body products. When I have the opportunity to stop and smell the roses, I want it all to make sense. And this new custom display does a number of things for this artisan retailer that we may, as consumers, take for granted.
This display puts apothecary products in a prominent position in the store. When I walk in, I understand that Bramble is a store that values this category. As a consumer, I will remember them for specialty perfumes and soaps forever more — even if I have only been to their store once. This display also helps Bramble fill out this category. Organized for consumers, and organized so that Bramble can offer more niche products in a bath and body line. They have successfully opened up their shelves to expand their merchandise offerings.
One more thing: this type of investment in a custom fixture lets me know that Bramble is here to stay for a long time. Bramble just added a large component to their store. Small retailers often struggle for the extra funds, time, and energy to put this kind of facelift into place. It may seem like just a new piece of furniture to some folks. But it is so much more, and as small retailers go, pretty phenomenal.
Congrats Bramble. I love it. And I'm coming by to smell the "roses" much more often.
